It's hard to argue a concrete sexuality for her when she literally loves everyone. (Or to argue that she's straight when she comes from a fandom based on a pop group with such lesbian undertones omg)History: Here! I should note that the 0048 Wiki lists her as her given name, Nagisa Motomiya, and not her idol name; as her canon point is after the end of the series, I refer to her as Atsuko Maeda the 14th. Appearance: Acchan is a young teenage girl, with bobbed strawberry pink hair that she almost always ties a bow into on the side of her head. She has pink eyes, and as someone with even the potential to be an idol, the shine in her hair and eyes take the shape of a heart. She is 156 centimetres tall, with a rather slight and slender build, and her style of dress when wearing casual clothes is stylish and cute, though slightly sporty. Personality: For being an idol, Acchan is surprisingly genuine. On stage, despite her high energy, her stage presence is focused, but fun-loving and friendly; to meet her out of her uniform, she's just as warm and happy. She's also a very stereotypical shoujo heroine- kind of awkward, clumsy, and determined, but with the purest intentions and a heart of gold. At times, however, Atsuko lacks confidence in herself, as well as a sense of direction, and is easily affected by others' words and actions. When 00 arrived on Lancastar, her home planet, for a guerilla concert, she was so shaken by how negatively her parents had been affected by her joining AKB0048 that she lost her voice from anxiety and guilt. She also sees her own flaws for what they are- and sees 00 as her way of overcoming them. As a trainee, she sometimes had lapses in resolve, and after being reminded of how far she had come and seeing how everyone in AKB0048 works together to perform and motivate each other, she sees joining 00 as a vehicle through which to reinvent herself. The succession of Atsuko Maeda's name is the culmination of Nagisa's personal journey. Throughout the series, especially in Next Stage, Nagisa begins to adopt many of Acchan's personal beliefs, especially her dedication to her fans. The ultimate moment of this is when Nagisa faces a protesting horde after returning to a brainwashed Akibastar, and begging them not to hate music or entertainment, even if they came to hate 00- which echoes a statement made by the real-life Atsuko Maeda: "Even if you hate me, please don't hate AKB." As Atsuko Maeda the 14th, she finds her new self at peace, and cares for not only her fellow members, but her fans as well. She is still striving to become greater, shine brighter- her best friend and rival Chieri serving as her constant source of motivation- and she's well on her way there. Abilities: She's just a normal girl! She's still working towards her goal of becoming a Center Nova, but since there's really no need/place for that kind of thing in Holly Heights.
